Line to start bike-sharing service in Japan with Chinese firm

Messaging app supplier Line Corp says it is going to release a bicycle-sharing service in Japan subsequent yr thru industry and capital tie-ups with a Chinese firm.

Expecting rising call for for motorcycle sharing, which has already received a foothold in the United States, Europe and China, Line plans to download a stake of up to 20 p.c in a Japanese unit of Beijing Mobike Technology Co in January.
