Are you looking for an apps, change the settings on your pc or simply search for a file? The Windows 8 Charms Bar can help you achieve those tasks. The charms (Search, Share, Start, Devices and Settings) are always available on the right side of your screen anywhere you are on Windows 8. Here is how you open the charms bar menu.

On TouchPad or Touch Screen:

Swipe in from the right edge of you screen or touchpad, and then tap (select) which one you want to do.

1. To find apps, search any settings, or find files. Tap Search.

2. To share pictures, files, or link. Update your facebook status. Tap Share.

3. To go to Start screen. If you are already on Start screen, to go back to last app. Tap Start.

4. To use all the devices connected on your pc. Tap Devices.

5. To change settings on your pc such as sound volume, display brightness, control panel, or get System Info. Tap Settings.
